I chose this rating because he is so authentic and real in every poem. He is telling women that he sees their worth and they deserve much better than what hey are getting out of men. He's not saying that all guys are dirt bags but he's ultimately telling women that they don't have to settle. He's telling men that they need to get their act together.
I follow Derrick Jaxn on Facebook and saw a few passages from his book and had to get it. I thought it was going to be more of a story but it's mostly poems which is fine. Good reading material so far
I'm a grown woman. All excerpts in this read solidified my experiences as I navigated through "searching for love." I have an awesome husband however, it took going through painful experiences to know my worth.
This book right here is the truth! Real feelings that not only that the Author feels but that we all feel. I loved the poems of life. I visually played out everything I heard as though he was right here with his spoken word talking to me. I encourage you to read this book, couldn't put it down 1st day and almost done * which says alot in itself for me that is ** and can't wait to start the other two..
The book was nice. He hit a lot of points, wr as women deal with in the world of dating, love, romance, heart break, and lust. He was genuine his approach and explanations. Well thought out. I did not like the "run ons." But hey 4 stars because it's real. It's nice to see that there is one good man left ready to love.
If anyone knows about Derrick Jaxn, then they know that he brings nothing but straight up advice in regards to relationships. This book touches on a lot of things that women go through such as hurtful past relationships, insecurities and other bs. Good book!!
This book spoke to my soul. Sometimes we all need to hear that someone out there thinks and feels like we do. I would recommend this book to everyone. Love is a splendid thing. It’s nice to hear things from a man’s point of view.
